As Vice President of New Business Development, Karla Horton utilizes her outstanding consultative skills to develop both new and long-term account relationships for the Company. Horton has a successful track record in building profits in startup environments, developing high level business connections, and improving customer satisfaction ratings.


Karla brings more than 15 years of experience in new business development, marketing strategy consultation, and research.  Prior to Community Analytics, Karla was the National Sales Manager for The Arbitron Company where she was responsible for the sales strategy, creation of new research products and services, as well as the development of senior sales staff members. On account of her work with developing new revenue streams with many of the Fortune 1000, Karla was awarded Arbitron’s highest honor, “Allstar.”


Karla earned a Master’s degree in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Business Administration. Karla loves painting, sewing, and knitting in her spare time. She enjoys working out, running, and spending time with her two sons and numerous pets.
